City Celebrates a Combined 67 Years of Service

The City of Caldwell’s Christmas Party was extra special this year, as three staples of the City were also celebrated.  James Messing, long-term Public Works Employee will be retiring at the end of the year after thirty-two years of employment. James received a Key to the City and a Service Award as a token of appreciation for his unwavering loyalty and dedication. After enjoying a few months of leisure, James will return as a part-time employee.

Out-going Mayor, Mark Arnold was presented with a Service Award, thanking him for serving as the Mayor of Caldwell for twelve years. Commissioners Jill Kuehny and Michelle Schiltz and City Administrator Casie Risley congratulated Mayor Arnold for his part in leading the City through several special projects and millions of dollars of grants to help the community prosper.  Because of this leadership, Mayor Arnold helped forge a pathway for the City’s future success.

Public Works Supervisor, Marc Marcrum was also recognized for his twenty-three years of service to the City. Although Marc will be around for a few more months, being a man that prefers no public recognition, City Staff seized the opportunity to include celebrating his commitment to quality and service to the community.

Congratulations gentlemen on a job very well done!
